Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art derived from Jujitsu, spear training, and sword work. Its focus on peaceful conflict resolution and harmony make it an ideal martial art for people of all ages. Practitioners of aikido should be ready for classes of rolling, defensive techniques, and sword/staff training. Instructor Michael Weber Sensei (5th Degree Black Belt) has been studying Aikido since 1989, including three years in Shingu, Japan where he studied under 10th Degree Black Belt Michio Hikitsuchi Sensei.
